Formed in the crucible of global lockdown in April 2020, Mezzotint recorded their first album together, apart… from our various crypts. When restrictions lifted Mezzotint were fortunate enough to play their first show at corker of a venue, Colchester Arts Centre! Since then we have played stages large and small, near and far. From Queen Street Brewhouse (Colchester) to Bloodstock VIP. Wherever we go we bring big spooky energy, unabashed theatrics and an eagerness to thrill.
ECTO PEACH – have got the middle-aged angst and they’re not going to simply fade into the background quietly with their M&S slippers on (however much they like the quality and reasonable prices of M&S.. and the fact that their perfume is not tested on animals). They’re not a band trying to find themselves. No, they know who they are and they know who you are and with punchy music and catchy lyrics they’re going to say things that really matter. No one cares that you’re mooning over someone you saw on a train, whilst standing in the rain. No, we’ve got the important subjects covered, like when trips to the blue and orange paradise of B&M turn sour or when someone hands you a cold cup of tea.
