Attila the Stockbroker
Attila the Stockbroker is a “punk poet”, singer-songwriter, writer and social commentator.  With well over 3000 gigs in 24 countries (including East Germany before the wall came down and then again immediately after it did) and at least 40 LPs, EPs, and CDs, and 7 books of poetry to his name, he’s been a force-of-nature since 1980 when he was discovered by the much-celebrated DJ John Peel, and he hasn’t stopped since!  He’s shared stages with pretty much everyone at some point, including The Jam, The Alarm, Newtown Neurotics, New Model Army, Porky the Poet (AKA Phil Jupitus), and Seething Wells. Additionally, he has toured with cult musician and loveable oddball, John Otway, and was once supported by Manic Street Preachers.
Attila is a self-sustaining DIY one man cottage industry, who may not quite be a household name, but he proves that you don’t need to be a ‘celebrity’ to lead an interesting life earning your living doing what you love.  Smart, funny, sociopolitical, raucous, and surreal at times, an evening in the company of Attila the Stockbroker is one you’ll always remember!

James Domestic
Supporting Attila – and not for the first time – is James Domestic, from Sudbury via Essex..
Domestic has been entertaining crowds across the country with his quirky, funny, and often poignant observations on the minutiae of everyday life effortlessly crafted into irreverent, punk-ish poems. With several books to his name, he’s supported legends such as Luke Wright, Attila The Stockbroker, Subhumans, Pet Needs, and Mark Grist to name but a few.
His poetry has earned him comparisons to John Cooper Clarke, Ivor Cutler, Spike Milligan, Ian Dury, and Benjamin Zephaniah, and has received praise from Steve Ignorant (Crass), Mark Grist (Multi-award-winning poet, battle rapper, and children’s author), Dick Lucas (Subhumans), Scott Coe (former Stamford Poet Laureate), Jerry A (Poison Idea), The Shend (The Cravats) and many more.
An absolute delight!
