Sudbury Arts Centre is introducing a 10-week free learning programme in events and hospitality. This will provide meaningful, real world experience in the skills needed to plan, market and deliver a varied programme of events, from live music to monthly craft markets, and hosting local organisations’ meetings.
Led by our Creative Tutor and supported by our fantastic team of staff and volunteers, you will learn all about event planning, marketing, budgeting, stewarding and hospitality. We aim to deliver a programme that will give you the confidence and skills needed to pursue volunteer and employment opportunities within events and hospitality, and provide you with a wide range of transferable skills that can open up a whole world of opportunities.
Applicants will be aged 16+ that have additional needs. Sudbury Arts Centre will provide a supportive and inclusive environment within which you will learn to be part of a team, and our dynamic and adaptable environment will improve your problem solving and communication skills.

What We Are Looking For
- Participants aged 16+ who have additional needs
- No prior experience is required, but a willingness to commit to potential evening and weekend events is key
