How to DJ
Explore the world of DJing and create your own mixes. Experiment with remixing tunes, performing live and creating new music with professional DJ equipment. No previous experience required.
What You’ll Learn:
- DJ Controllers: Discover how to DJ using a digital controller.
- How to mix: Work with Cue points, understand tempo, key changes, beats and bars.
- Mash Ups: Learn how to blend, mix, and mash up your favourite songs.
- Looping and Slicing: Explore techniques like looping and slicing to craft completely new music interpretations.
- Live Effects: Get hands-on experience with applying live effects for dynamic performances.
- Stems: Separate your tracks into layers of vocal, bass and drums. Create live remixes.
- Genre-Blending Skills: All styles of music will be explored from EDM, House, Rock, Hip Hop, Electronica, Soul, Funk, Ambient, Drum and Bass, Reggaeton, Pop and Afrobeat.
- Small Group Setting: Enjoy a fun and hands-on experience in an intimate class size.
- Professional Guidance: Learn from experienced DJs and tutors who will guide you every step of the way.
