Inspired by Heritage Open Days ROUTES – NETWORKS – CONNECTIONS theme, come along to our community heritage day and share your stories and experiences as members of OUR LGBTQ community and allies. No need to pre-book, just turn up and share your story.
Your stories of your own LGBTQ journey can be recounted anonymously, or shared within our public sharing circle facilitated by Engagement Officer Gemma Garwood.
On the day there will also be a digital display of the story of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears; our own link to Suffolk’s LGBTQ past, and a display on loan from the Suffolk Archives Pride in Suffolk’ Past project.
In collaboration with the Suffolk Archives we will be donating your stories to their Pride in Suffolk’ Past archive.
