LATES AT SUDBURY ARTS CENTRE – LIVE MUSIC – Under The Surface with curated film and curated art exhibition by Mark Wilkinson

Band, Under The Surface bring an immersive set of completely improvised music to their audience, drawing from years of collaboration to create an entirely new language of human connection. “We challenge our audience to experience through sound who they are. It’s about being part of something that is bigger than we are.” Their musical journey takes listeners on a dreamlike flight, encompassing euphoric moments as well as delving into the darker and more challenging depths of the human psyche. This unique experience has unfolded all over the world, from open-air music festivals, arenas, and museums to Buddhist temples and churches.

Both their debut album, ‘Under the Surface,’ and their second album, ‘Trinity, were nominated for an Edison award.Their latest release, ‘Miin Triuwa,’ has garnered critical acclaim and is regarded as their most accomplished work to date.

This will be the band’s first major UK tour in 2024, featuring specially commissioned 20 minute film from On Studios and Artwork display curated by Mark Wilkinson, (album cover artist for Iron Maiden, Marillion, Judas Priest etc)

A mysterious and monumental piece of art

An extraordinary and thrilling combination. Dutch vocalist Sanne Rambags is a storyteller who balances between magic and reality. And that for a 22 year old girl.
