About Dance Historia
Jane Snowdon worked for some years as an actor and dancer, later spending time teaching in a senior school in Birmingham. Moving to Colchester she became self-employed firstly as a Community Dancer, working through the Arts Centre and then founded The History Wardrobe (dance-drama and costume) Educational services for Historic Houses, Museums and Galleries. Dance Historia is a group of social dancers in Jane’s home town, Hadleigh Suffolk. They enjoy a variety of circle and figured dances and discovering more about their historical context.
