A weekly selection of live music on a pay what you can afford by donation basis. Donations are invited to support Sudbury Arts Centre as a not for profit arts, heritage and community space. We are very grateful to Roger Green for organising and to our lovely musicians who all donate their time and talents to support us.
Formed in 2010 from members of Sudbury Choral Society and St Peters Singers, we are a six part ladies singing group, with repertoire ranging from The Andrews Sisters to Tears for Fears. We love close harmonies and interesting arrangements of easy listening and light classics. Our three piece band, Flat Broke play with us for parties, fetes and larger events and concerts. On 28th August we are accompanied by Thérèse Miller, who trained at the Royal College of Music and in July played Rachmaninov for St Botolph’s Music Society in Colchester.
