The Sun Still Shines in Muddled Minds – Pop-Up Art Exhibition
To mark World Alzheimer’s Month, from 3rd September to 24th September 2026, SAC is proud to host a special pop-up art exhibition in our little South Chapel Gallery, celebrating the creativity, talent and self-expression of people living with dementia.
The exhibition will feature a collection of co-produced art and craft projects created by members of Leading Lives Dementia Cafés (DeCafés) in Ipswich and Sudbury. Inspired by Dementia UK’s campaign theme, “The Sun Still Shines in Muddled Minds,” the exhibition highlights the individuality, imagination and joy that continue to shine through despite the challenges of dementia.
We hope this uplifting exhibition will inspire, empower and enlighten visitors, while encouraging greater understanding of dementia and bringing a little sunshine into everyone’s minds.
Exhibition Dates: 3rd September – 24th September 2026 Open on Thursday Friday Saturday 10am – 3pm (excluding week beginning 14th September)
