SUDBURY PAST | PRESENT | FUTURE
We are delighted to invite experienced artists and artist collectives to submit Expressions of Interest for an exciting new public art mural in Sudbury.
As part of our programme of community-led activity supporting the regeneration of St Peter’s Church as Sudbury Arts Centre, this commission offers a unique opportunity to create a large-scale mural that celebrates Sudbury’s heritage, identity, and sense of place—connecting its past, present, and future.
We are seeking artists with experience in public art, co-creation, and meaningful community engagement. The selected artist or collective will work closely with local communities to develop a mural that encourages curiosity, reflection, and pride, and brings Sudbury’s stories vividly to life in the public realm.
This is a paid commission, made possible through the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Sudbury Town Council, who have granted permission for the use of the mural wall.
